Locke would be a person standing up for human rights. He created the Two Treatises of Government, Locke argued that people formed governments to protect their natural rights. He thought the best kind of government was limited power and acceptance by all citizens. Another thinker was Diderot he was a man who edited the encyclopedia he would probably be updating the encyclopedia in today's world and changing the general world of thinking by explaining ideas on topics about government , philosophy, and religion. Rousseau promotes the social contract so he would agree with Voltaire to defend the freedom of thought. He believed that people in their natural state were basically good. He created the book by the name Social Contract. Another would be Wollstonecraft a women who said women should be treated fair, and the start of that would be boys and girls should get the same amount of education. Wollstonecraft would be a women in our world today probably working to be president of United States standing up for women rights.
